Impact
What we’ll publish, and the numbers so far.
You should be able to see what reaches the rescues, partner by partner, month by month. Goose is pre-launch and has no rescue partners yet, so this page says so plainly.

Adoptions
The first adoption is the goal
Counted live from what any visitor can see. Demo dogs and rescues are fictional examples, with no real rescue relationship implied.
Partner revenue
No partner revenue yet. The first ledger follows the first pilot month.
Once memberships open, each month every membership becomes one ledger row: what was paid, less VAT and fees, and each side’s share. Every figure is labelled estimated until it’s finalised, and a person checks and pays every row; nothing is automatic.
How the split is calculated
The split is a share of defined net revenue, not of the £9.99 price. Our starting proposal for the pilot is 60% of defined net revenue to the rescue partner and 40% to Goose; the signed agreement with each rescue sets the real split. The partner’s share supports the whole organisation, never one popular dog. When the policy changes its version changes, and old rows keep the version they were calculated under.

Example, based on Stripe’s standard UK card fee, 1.5% + 20p. 60/40 of defined net revenue is the pilot hypothesis; the signed agreement sets the split. Each row stays estimated until a person finalises it, and payment is always by hand.
What will be published

Adoption outcomes
Dogs adopted into a home, and how many Best Friends chose to support another dog afterwards.

The rules
No pay-to-prioritise adoption. No welfare decisions by member vote. No incentive to keep a popular dog longer.
Written into Goose from day one
A membership is never a donation or ownership. Rescues keep every welfare and adoption decision.
