For rescues · Pilot programme

Five to ten dogs. No platform fee.

Our plan for a small first pilot with a UK rescue or foster network. The goal is evidence, not scale: new support for your dogs, without needing to hire anyone to run it.

The offer

Small, honest and measured.

  • Five to ten dogs

You choose which dogs. The older, quieter, longer-stay ones are more than welcome.

  • No platform fee

Goose plans to charge pilot partners nothing.

  • One post, many places

One verified post reaches your profile, each tagged dog and every follower.

  • A transparent ledger

Every membership becomes a monthly ledger row you can see, checked and paid by a person, never automatically.

  • Adoption is the goal

Nothing in the model rewards keeping a dog in care. Going home is the win.

How funding works

A share of defined net revenue, row by row.

Best Friend is a paid membership, not a donation or a grant, and it never gives a member a say over welfare or adoption.

Example, based on Stripe’s standard UK card fee, 1.5% + 20p. 60/40 of defined net revenue is the pilot hypothesis; the signed agreement sets the split. Each row stays estimated until a person finalises it, and payment is always by hand.

How we publish the ledger

What we ask of you

Four things, kept light.

  1. 1A named contact
  2. 2Verified facts only
  3. 3Adoption as usual
  4. 4Honest feedback on the time it takes

Next step

You keep doing animal welfare. Goose helps more people care about the dogs.

Pilot applications aren’t open yet. Register your rescue’s interest and we’ll be in touch when they are.
